This is a bench-made English burr or burl elm two drawer file cupboard with a pull-out gilt and tooled edge leathered slide and a gilt and tooled edge leather top. No finer complimentary pieces to desks can be made today by our own proprietary south of England cabinetmakers.
Makes a perfect compliment to one of our fine English bench made pedestal partner's desks (images listed separately in other 1st Dibs listings of Birlant's.)
These are made in limited quantities and subject to prior sale.
Typically available in also inlaid mahogany (by special request) and different leather colors.
