Fine Louis XV Style Marquetry Demilune Commode with Green Marble Top
A finely crafted and visually striking Louis XV style commode of demilune form, dating to the late 20th or early 21st century.
This elegant side cabinet features a richly grained veneered body with floral marquetry panels and decorative parquetry work, finished with finely cast gilt bronze (ormolu) mounts throughout. The shaped green marble top adds a luxurious contrast and completes the piece’s refined aesthetic.
Of long and shallow proportions, the commode offers both decorative presence and practical use. The central doors open to reveal a shelved interior, while the rear is also veneered—underscoring the quality of its manufacture. Supplied with original ornate keys for the locks.
