About the Item

Striking Georg Jensen Showroom Cabinet in Curved Glass and Ebonised Steel with Lockable Drawers A superbly engineered curved display cabinet, formerly installed in a Georg Jensen showroom, likely custom-built for their London premises. This substantial piece is of demi-lune form, crafted from heavy-gauge ebonised steel with a sweeping convex glass front and thick glass top, offering a refined panoramic display ideal for jewellery, objets d’art or other high-value pieces. To the reverse, the cabinet features three integrated drawers with a warm laminated wood finish, all discreetly housed behind a clean matte fascia. The drawers are individually spacious and secured with a shared working lock and key. The central display area includes a raised internal glass shelf and a lower display surface beneath, both fully illuminated by a continuous internal LED light strip — in full working order. The entire unit is exceptionally well made and of considerable weight, designed to withstand professional retail use while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Ideal for use in a luxury retail interior, fine jewellery showroom, gallery, or as a centrepiece fixture in a curated commercial space. Dimensions: Width: 200 cm Depth: 104 cm Height: 100 cm Condition: Very good overall. Minor surface wear and light scratches to the top glass consistent with showroom use. Structurally solid, visually striking, and ready for use with fully functioning internal lighting. Provenance: Removed from a central London Georg Jensen retail showroom.
