Maple Desk Top Organizer Hudson Valley and Troy New York Paper Companies

About the Item

A solid maple desk or counter top organizer for The Hudson Valley Company and Troy Paper Corporations. Circa 1930-40. The metal horizontal tag has nice raised lettering advertising, not one, but two businesses: Hudson Valley Paper Company, Albany, New York and Troy Paper Corporations, Two, New York. Finger joint dovetail joinery. One drawer over six vertical sections. Masonite sections and back board. Good overall condition with cosmetic wear consistent with age and use. Some light scuffs and scratches. Good old patina and oxidized original finish. Structurally sound and sturdy. Wear to the handle and tarnish. The organizer's approximate measurements are 11.13" deep x 15.38" wide x 11.25" high. The each sectioned portion's approximate measurements are 11" deep x 2.25" wide x 6.63" high.
