Miniature Florentine Leather Cabinet with Gold Engraving and Beveled Glass
About the Item
A rare and finely crafted miniature cabinet from Florence, circa 1890, clad in richly embossed leather with delicate gold engraving throughout. Beveled glass panels frame all sides, allowing for elegant display. One pane is cracked (see photo), and three interior shelves are missing, but the piece remains an extraordinary object of art.
Lined in vibrant red damask silk, this petite cabinet exudes old world charm and refinement. Its compact size and exquisite detailing make it a unique collector’s piece or a jewel like accent in any interior. Italy, circa 1890.
Wear consistent with age; one glass pane cracked; three shelves missing (see images).
