18th Century New England Chippendale Chest of Drawers in Maple and Tiger Maple

About the Item

A well made Chippendale chest with rectangular top with molded edge surmounting a case with four dovetailed drawers, each featuring batwing brasses, original wide board back, all supported by a nicely carved bracket base. The chest has a New England origin, and dates to the late 18th century and is in very good condition, with minor surface scratches, shrinkage cracks, a few edge losses, polish residue, and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 32.25 in H x 35.5 in W x 19 in D. Ref: 8
