1981 Statton Queen Anne Style Highboy
About the Item
A 1981 Queen Anne style highboy made of solid Appalachian cherry wood, made by Statton Furniture Company for their Private Collection II. Carved flame finials surmount the bonnet top, above hand dovetailed drawers that open with brass bail handles, set on bat-shaped back plates. Two smaller central drawers are hand carved with a finely detailed shell and acanthus motif. Below, cabriole legs terminate in pad feet. Finished throughout in Statton's Centennial Cherry color.
