19th Century Scandinavian Chest of Drawers with Serpentine Front in Mahogany

About the Item

A Fine chest with four drawers in bookmatched, crotch West Indies mahogany with serpentine front and resting on carved slipper feet. Features a serpentine top in quarter-sawn sapele (African mahogany) with mahogany sliding drawer covers inside top drawer and working locks with one antique key. French-polish finish, Sweden, circa 1850. Measure: 41" wide x 21 1/2" deep x 40" high.
