A very good looking and well made piece, this is a very utilitarian piece, it can be used as a chest of drawers in a bedroom setting, a cupboard in dining room for plates and cutlery or as a console table in hallway, the choices are endless. The piece is carved from top to bottom, the timber is super old and has a wonderful patina. The top right panel is carved and dated 1685
In terms of the condition, we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished the timber from top to bottom, there will be lots of age and use related patina marks, some losses, one drawer handle is missing, this nearly 350 years old so it will have some age and ware
