Campaign chest of drawers handmade in England in the early 1800s using mahogany. The chest is made in two sections pegged together, which at the time was done to easily move the chest. the dresser has four rows of drawers, the first row features two drawers whereas the remaining three have each a single, large drawer. The drawers are all inset and show beautiful dovetail joints. The sides are flat and have brass handles, as it often happens with this style.

This is beautifully crafted antique early Victorian teak military campaign secretaire chest of drawers dates from Circa 1840.
The top drawer opening to a pull out secretaire fitted with a small drawer, pigeon hole compartments and an inset gold tooled brown leather writing surface. This is over two short drawers over two full width drawers.
The brass-bound chest was made in two parts, accented with inset brass hardware, for ease of transport.
