About the Item
A Classic French Bombé Two-Over-Two Chest in handsome Cherry Finish and having large Dramatic Drawer Pulls, Key Escutcheons and leg mounts. The Chest is topped with a fine and well grained Marble Top in Striated Brown and White with a lovely shaped Edge. The Antique Drawer Locks are retained however a key is lacking.
Condition: Restoration recommended. Please see detail photos. Various signs of age include loose escutcheon plates, areas of missing veneer (Shown in photos), stable age cracks and various nicks and rubs to the case. Despite the condition, the Chest retains an authentic and imposing presentation.
The Bombé Chest measures 50.5” wide by 25.25” deep by 31” high.
