About the Item

Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this very absolutely stunning Circa 1860-1880 Spanish made Oak chest of drawers with ornately hand studded leather upholstery, domed top and Royal Armorial Coat of Arms crests on each drawer Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote, please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price. What a find..... is this not the most exquisite piece of furniture you have ever seen! It's a transitional piece between a domed top chest and a chest of drawers, it has been restored to include a new red velour lining throughout. Every square inch is fully studded, this looks like it might have been a marriage chest of sorts as there are hearts on the sides. Each drawer has a large Royal Armorial crest / Coat of Arms, these add a very nice look and feel Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished it, the leather has a deep antique hew to it, there may be some little losses here and there and naturally crazing in the hide but nothing of note Dimensions Height:- 79cm Width:- 100cm Depth:- 46cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
