Large chest of three drawers with carved panels from France, circa 1820-1840.
The newer, professionally applied soft gray painted finish (with blue and white undertones) adds a touch of life and interest to this heavy oak chest.
The carved panel drawers, fluted tapered feet and fluted side accents are gently distressed adding to the vintage feel of the dresser.
Expected age-related separation of wood is visible in the drawers and back, but does not impact the strength nor functionality of the dresser.
The three long drawers all function and each have 2 brass pulls for ease of use.
