Early 19th Century Green Painted Italian Cupboard

About the Item

Ancient Italian sideboard, wrapped in a fascinating veil of history and vintage patina. Its main body, made of solid fir wood, stands proudly, telling stories of past generations and family lunches. An ancient green envelops it, like a cloak of precious moss, slightly faded by time but still full of character. The lower part, solid and compact, houses two doors that hide spacious shelves, ready to accommodate crockery and trays. Two drawers, custodians of precious memories, open gracefully thanks to their ceramic knobs, also embellished with a delicate crackle that underlines their age. Going up one level, we encounter an open compartment, perfect for displaying refined vases or ornaments that capture the light. An invitation to take a moment's break, admire the beauty and let yourself be carried away by the magic of times gone by. Finally, the crown of the sideboard: two glass doors, like curious eyes scanning the world. Behind them, you can glimpse precious tea cups and crystal glasses, jealously guarded and ready to be shown off on special occasions. On the side, the sideboard shows off its carved decorations, which hark back to the first half of the 19th century. Fluted columns, sinuous and majestic, intertwine with modillions, creating a play of light and shadow that fascinates and enchants. Every centimeter of this sideboard tells a story, every imperfection of time enhances its beauty. It is a piece of furniture that not only furnishes a space, but that fills the home with warmth, memories and a timeless charm. A true jewel of Italian design, ready to embellish any environment and win the hearts of those who look at it. Internally the piece of furniture is finished with shellac. in the lower part there is a shelf. This sideboard is partially restored. The price includes the complete restoration and customization of the interior (shelves and/or coat hanger pole)
