French Carved-Wood Chest w/Scalloped Skirt & Cabriole Legs
About the Item
A French carved and bleached wood chest of three drawers. This vintage commode from France features a rectangular-shaped top with rounded front corners, over a case which houses three full sized drawers, flanked within round side posts, has a nicely carved skirt on three sides, and raised upon four petite cabriole legs terminating into whorl feet. Each of the drawer fronts are carved with a pair of raised plaques, with a central carved cartouche style raised plaque, and fitted with two decorative brass pulls and escutcheon at center plaque. This piece has a bleached finish with custom painted gray/blue top and accent trim. This French chest of drawers is versatile enough for just about any room, offering storage within and a place for desired objects to be prominently displayed atop.
