Late 17th to Early 18th Century Oak Chest of Drawers

About the Item

Late 17th to early 18th century Charles II oak chest of drawers, English, circa 1700, having a rectangular two board top, four drawers with geometric molding and brass tear drop pulls, raised on bracket feet. The chest was surely made in England, as were most found in the American colonies during the Pilgrim Century. The chest remains in very good and strong condition. The top has a hairline crack, there are old repairs to the feet, and there is one brass teardrop missing. Measures: 37 - 1/4 in H x 37 - 3/8 in wide x 20 - 1/2 in deep.
