Late 18th Century American Queen Anne Flat Top Maple Highboy Double, Four short drawers with central cellarette over three graduated long drawers, over a base fitted with five short drawers. Scalloped apron with 2 downturned finials on cabriole legs and pad feet. Its rectangular form features a molded cornice above a series of graduated drawers, each adorned with simple brass pulls. Very fine craftsmanship on this piece. The legs and feet are carved finely. 71” x 40.5” x 22.5” Overall In two pieces. Top: 22.5" deep x 36" wide x 36" high Condition: The chest appears to be in good antique condition. There are a few minor scratches and marks consistent with age and use. Evidence of earlier repairs and refinishing.
