About the Item
The ‘Sapporo’ chest of drawers, designed by Mario Marenco and manufactured by Mobilgirgi in Italy in 1978, is a striking piece of Italian modern design. Crafted from richly grained walnut veneer and solid walnut components in varying tones, this chest showcases a captivating layered effect that adds depth and visual interest. Its geometric aesthetic is further enhanced by the striped panels that define its surface, giving the piece a bold, architectural look.
Featuring four spacious drawers, the chest offers ample storage while maintaining a sleek profile. View AllMario Marenco Sapporo chairs for Mobil Girgi Italy 1970
By Mario Marenco, Mobil Girgi
Located in Roosendaal, Noord Brabant
Wonderful set of Sapporo dining chairs designed by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi in Italy in 1970. These chairs are made from Italian walnut with a stunning grain pattern. The seats are original and have aged beautiful, showing a charming, worn-in leather look. What makes these chairs special is their unique design.
They have a hammer-shaped backrest that looks nice and provides good support. The seats are wide and comfortable for long meals. One cool thing about these chairs is how they're put together. Two slim slats go from the top of the backrest all the way down to the bottom, where they connect with a horizontal slat. This design makes the chairs look simple and modern.
Kindly note that the chairs are priced and sold in a set of 6 but we have 12 of these chairs available as shown on the pictures.
