Louis XV Chest of Drawers, France, 1770
Located in Belmont, MA
This gorgeous French Louis XV chest of drawers dates back to around 1770. It was made during the so called Transition period, the time between Louis XV and Louis XVI. The three drawers commode stands on four cabriole legs with bronze sabots. Between the first and the second drawer is a decorated bronze band. This beautiful chest of drawers has its original wooden top with its veneer decor matching the decor of the front and sides. The Transition commode has been expertly refinished in our workshop. The price includes costs for the exquisite restoration and the international shipping from Europe...
