Early 19th Century English George III Standing Corner Cupboard. Made of pine with a shaped cornice over a gracefully arched glazed door retaining the original iron "H" hinges and brass hardware. There is a further pair of doors below. All framed by a pair of architectural fluted columns. Truly elegant Georgian design at its best. Made circa 1820. 92" High 46" Wide 19" Deep An exceptional example of early 19th-century English craftsmanship, this George III standing corner cupboard, circa 1820, is constructed from solid pine and retains its original mellow finish, showcasing the warm patina and character acquired over two centuries. The architectural design is both stately and refined. The upper cabinet offers three shaped interior shelves, ideal for displaying porcelain or glassware, while the lower paneled doors open to reveal additional concealed storage.
