An impressive two piece Federal corner cupboard in poplar and pine, its upper case with a swan’s neck split pediment crest with central urn finial flanked by two carved rosettes surmounting two arched doors with glazed glass panels, flanked by relief carved oval fan decoration, and opening to a three shelf storage compartment in powder light blue, over a lower case with two blind paneled doors, opening to a single shelf storage, all supported by a carved bracket base. This beautiful corner cabinet is probably Mid-Atlantic in origin, dating to circa 1800, in very good overall condition, with wavy glass and nice finish, with three glass cracks in one panel, minor losses on the interior, along with minor restorations, other imperfections, and light wear commensurate with age and use.
