19th Century Korean Tansu Cabinet

This is an exquisite two-part Korean Tansu cabinet from the early 20th century. The upper case features four small fitted drawers, while both upper and lower cases have central doors leading to storage compartments adorned with paper featuring Korean characters. The cabinet rests on a finely carved base and is embellished with brushed butterfly hardware.
