Hutch

About the Item

The Hutch is made from Chicago ash wood fallen trees. The artist Norman Teague designed and built it as an homage to his grandmother and considers the idea of opening the locked hutch to hear of the stories around the objects inside. Hutch's inspiration also stems from the geometry seen in craft of a Yurts. The crossing bars still act as protection but allows for interaction and tactile feel of the objects housed on/in it.
