Mnemosyne Credenza in Blackened Steel, Brass, and Walnut

About the Item

The Mnemosyne credenza is made to be a low, elegent storage piece that has two soft close doors and two soft close drawers. Made to be used as sideboard or a bench. Its outer case is a hand blackened steel that has deep texture and color that is made even richer with an oiled and waxed finish. The drawers and doors are fronted with patinated brass plate that is fastened to a walnut and blackened birch interior cabinet box. The drawer and door edges show the union of brass and walnut together when opened and the drawer boxes are dovetails solid walnut. The steel base is low and set back to create the illusion of floating 1.5" from the ground.
