Mid-Century, English Credenza and Dry Bar by Beautility
By Beautility
Located in Atlanta, GA
This vintage mid-century credenza was designed and manufactured by 'beautility furniture' in England during the 1950s. A posh, stylishly designed credenza, the burl wood melamine veneered cabinet rests on tapered legs. The case consists of two outer drawers, the left fitted and lined with green felt for silver service. Beneath, two cabinet doors with raised paneled handles open to cupboards with interior shelving for additional storage. The cupboards flank a drinks cabinet lined in white formica with a fold-down pouring shelf. The drinks cabinet features a mirrored back and curved shelf...

MidCentury Cream Color Glass and Brass DryBar, 1950
Located in Rome, IT
A unique sideboard of its kind for originality and for the choice of materials. Simple but refined design, the inside is completely covered with small mirrors, a real miniature mosaic. Note the rich design of the doors, with smooth colored glass surrounded by a black lacquered frame.
The sideboard has a wooden structure, which has been covered with cream colored glass. Frontally, the sideboard has a black frame that has been placed all around the two doors; these can be opened using two special brass pendant handles. The body of the sideboard rests on four legs in black lacquered wood. The design of the legs is very elongated and narrow in the final part that touches the ground. Internally the sideboard is covered with a micro mosaic mirror...

Italian Mid-Century Sideboard by Paolo Buffa, 1950s
By Paolo Buffa
Located in Traversetolo, IT
In the 1950s, Paolo Buffa designed this stylish Italian mid-century sideboard. There is a great deal of elegance in this piece. The sinuous lines of the sides and the refined combination of different shades of wood make this piece special. It's also noteworthy that the brass parts were cast in lost wax (it almost appears that they were made by a goldsmith).
Very well-kept conditions, completely restored, ready to use. The large sideboard, the dining table, and the chairs are also available, currently undergoing restoration.

Mid-Century Modern Credenza in Caviuna Hardwood by Giuseppe Scapinelli, 1956
Located in New York, NY
Available today, this magnificent Mid-Century Modern credenza is entirely made of Caviuna hardwood and consists of six doors, three storage cabinets, six shelves and four drawers. The sides are curved and the structure rests on four legs. The wood has been refinished and besides the marks of age, the piece is in excellent condition.
With this Brazilian Modern piece, Giuseppe Scapinelli highlights one of his favorite wood species, the caviuna of light blond appearance with darker veins that the designer knows how to play to form geometric patterns on the front that offers a contrast giving charm and lightness with the legs designed in curves.
This credenza effortlessly flexes into any Mid-Century Modern, modern, Danish modern or contemporary environment. The credenza is currently displayed in the gallery with two delicate Joaquim Tenreiro Poltrona...

Gino Rancati Rare Wood and Marble Sideboard, Published
By Gino Rancati
Located in Milano, IT
Rare and beautiful sideboard designed by the great Gino Rancati in the 1950s, of fine Italian manufacture. The sideboard comes from a very important private house in the Milan area, which housed a very wealthy family, who bequeathed us this beautiful sideboard.
The sideboard is made through the use of excellent fine woods.
The base is made thanks to a wooden slab above which stand 7 sinuous feet, with a golden leaf on each in brass perfectly in patina.
At the ends we notice two doors that open sideways, made thanks to the technique of grising on wood. Both are unique compartments for storing even larger...

Charlotte Perriand 5 Door Bloc Cabinet, C. 1958
Located in Brooklyn, NY
Charlotte Perriand 5-Door ‘Bloc’ cabinet designed for Cité Cansado, Mauritania c. 1958, edited by Galerie Steph Simon.
Perriand’s ‘Elements-Blocs De Rangement’ cabinets issued by Steph Simon gallery, 1958 were composed of coreboard shelves veneered with a choice of different woods, braced by black lacquered sheet metal backs and side panels to ensure absolute rigidity. The side panels were perforated to accommodate racks for shelves or patented drawers in high-impact polystyrene in red, yellow, gray, or black . The sliding doors are melamine over masonite, which was favored over plywood or aluminum as they could be moved without making a noise.
Storage was a vital issue for Perriand, who believed that life was not possible without rational storage. “Create emptiness.” she wrote, “You have too many things in your homes". Her intention was to liberate space - a fundamental idea in her writings. For her, emptiness was the scope to think and move.
Measurements: 99" length x 30 1/2" height x 18 1/2" depth
Materials: Ribbon mahogany, lacquered metal, metal legs with inset oak feet, melamine over masonite doors.
Condition: Original, untouched condition. Patina as to be expected with age (actual patina, not neglect). Wood shelves are adjustable with original metal brackets. Legs have chips and loss of lacquer as to be expected with age. These could be repainted if desired, we prefer not to do any restoration. Please refer to images and feel free to be in touch with any questions.
Provenance: Cité Cansado, Mauritania; Private Collection.
