About the Item

500/4 Series - High Sideboard with Tambour Doors Design: Gianfranco Frattini (1960) Considered even today one of the most distinctive and complete collections ever designed by Gianfranco Frattini, the Serie 500 was born from a careful observation of the evolving needs of modern living. New functionalities are harmoniously combined with the designer's aesthetic sensitivity and historical memory, resulting in storage furniture that unites innovation and tradition. The 500/4, a high sideboard with double tambour doors, embodies an ante litteram concept of modularity: it begins with a curved wooden base reinforced by a T-shaped element that ensures stability and strength, allowing additional modules to be added in height and length according to spatial requirements. Traditional elements are reinterpreted with new functions, while unexpected compartments open doors to memory, evoking the warmth and intimacy of home. Finish: Walnut Canaletto stain Dimensions: W 141 × D 52 × H 119 cm (W 55.51 × D 20.47 × H 46.85 in) Thanks to Tacchini's reissue in collaboration with the Gianfranco Frattini Archive, the Serie 500/4 returns in all its original strength, enriched by artisanal expertise and contemporary quality standards. Each sideboard is crafted with meticulous care, faithful to the original design while offering uncompromising quality, tailored for sophisticated and discerning interiors. The Serie 500/4 is more than just furniture: it is a discreet and refined icon, capable of transforming any space with elegance and harmony. A collectible piece that tells the visionary story of Frattini and the excellence of Italian design.
