20th Century Empire Etagere/Showcase, maple
Aristocratic étagère in Royal-Donau style.
Maple root and solid fully moulded carved beechwood. Partially gilded. Highly, right-angled body, architecturally structured body with two shelf boards and edging gallery in the form of a balustrade ending in a round bow. Over graduated, one drawered pedestal base. With fillings. Inside pearl-stick decoration. Dual sided palm-form moulded carved columns, capitals and base. Jutting cornices, over which half round crowning. In the convex part there are, brass-rosettes.
