About the Item

On offer here is an antique two-door cabinet that was made in the German state of North Rine-Westphalia in the early 19th century, circa 1820. The cabinet can be fully disassembled making transport and placement easy. The piece features two doors with elevated panels that have a maple diamond inlay in the middle. A small diamond-shaped oak panel is situated on both the left and right upper and lower sides of the front. Both corners were decorated with sleek oak columns. The sides have the same elevated panels that also feature the doors. The whole piece has a matte gray-green finish with a warm honey color oak undertone. The whole cabinet was gently cleaned in our atelier. New bracket feet were added and the gaps in the paneled back were closed. The lock and bolt were renewed and are now fully functional. The cabinet has no internal shelves and they can be made upon request. The cupboard is now solid, clean, and ready for use.
