About the Item
A incredible and massive 19th C. Cupboard from Brittany, France in stained Oak with outstanding European Folk Art carving of Foliate Scroll designs as well as Celtic Crosses, Hearts, Stars and many turned elements as well as the date 1805 centrally located at the top center and flanked by Hearts. The construction is very solid with two wood slat adjustable shelves on the top section and one long shelf below and two large capacity drawers at waist height.
The Cupboard measures 90” H x 70” L x 23” D
Condition: Please see detail photos. The overall condition is very good with various expected and acceptable signs of age including some stable age cracks and a few slight losses which do not detract from the authentic French Country presentation.
