About the Item

An unusual trapezoid-shaped Swedish Gustavian slant front desk. Front opens to reveal an ample work surface with six cascading drawers sitting atop one full size drawer. All drawers with petite brass pulls. One quaint cubby with ornate scrolling arch. In the base, four large drawers supported by simple bracketed feet. Original ornate brass hardware and later iron locks. Tastefully repainted exterior with black patina and pale blue (upper) interior.
