Absolutely glorious Regency Revival Carlton House desk we date to circa 1880
Features intricate marquetry inlay work - classical Sheraton motifs - on all surfaces
Leather writing surface has just been refinished with tooled leather and gilt embossed
Various cubby holes and drawers so ample storage
Side sections also open up to reveal more storage
Bought from a private residence in London's Belgravia
We've seen quite a few Carlton House desks in our time and this really is one of the higher end versions we were lucky enough to find and now feature
