About the Item

Professional set consisting of executive desk and matching display case, designed and made in Italy in the 1960s by designer Giaiotti, to furnish executive offices with style, functionality and industrial strength. The desk is constructed with a sturdy black painted iron frame, aluminum trestle base, rosewood-effect laminate worktops and two suspended painted metal drawer units with elegant vertical brown Bakelite handles. The aesthetically matched display case features four modules with smoked glass and wood veneer doors mounted on metal legs typical of Italian rationalist design. Adjustable interior shelves make this cabinet extremely versatile for archival or display use. A rare set with refined industrial style, ideal for executive environments, creative studios or collectors of mid-century Italian furniture. An excellent combination of aesthetics, solidity and signature design.
