About the Item

Iconic Italian desk model secretaire 530 designed by Gianfranco Frattini in 1956 and produced by the historic company Bernini. An object that combines design, craftsmanship, and functionality, the result of Gianfranco Frattini's research. Crafted from beautifully veined walnut, it features a 130 cm work surface with two practical side drawers, complete with locks, and a central document compartment. The hourglass-shaped legs are typical of Frattini's products from that era, details that have become identifiable elements of the designer's style. Frattini was one of the most significant designers of the 20th century, and with the support of Bernini, he created products that left a mark on the history of Italian design. _ PIECE GUARANTEED TO BE ORIGINAL BY BERNINI _ Bibliography: Le fabbrieche del design, Ed.
