About the Item
For sale is a good quality Victorian Burr Walnut Davenport of unusual form, the shaped top hinging to reveal a fretwork interior and green leather writing surface, decorated with gold tooling. Having turned and carved columns to the front, with four drawers to the side and four faux drawers on the opposing side, standing on turned feet raised on castors, the davenport remains in very good condition, showing minor signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
