About the Item

An exceptional bedroom low boy and mirror suite with multiple features and details in cherry. Produced circa 1960 with a modernist aspect coupled with Minimalist details to impart a clean profile with premium construction and craftsmanship. Mirror measures 33.25" x 45.5" and is 2" deep. Can be hung in any direction and if requested we have rods that will attach the mirror to the dresser also, again in a horizontal or vertical position anywhere on the dresser or wall. Hardware is present on back for hanging. Dresser measures 31" tall, 20" deep and is 60" wide. Some of the features of this dresser are as follows: 1. Heavy cherry construction with dovetail joints visible on the chest top and mirror edges. 2. The dresser has wheels on the bottom that raises it 1/8" off the floor for ease of movement. 3. The dresser features 8 drawers each with bevelled ebony in-lay. 4. the top 4 drawers feature slats with several dozen grooves allowing any configuration. There are 12 slats in total for the 4 drawers. 5. The drawers are recessed and on the left right and middle, finger space exists to allow drawer opening., see image 6. This dresser is in original condition and is excellent. Has been kept under a glass sheet it's entire life and the finish is unbroken and imparts an excellent sheen. There are minor flaws only to the front however they are so minor they are dismissed. We typically refinish all pieces but this is an exception due to it's excellent condition. Drawers internally are absolutely impeccable. Satisfaction is guaranteed.
