English metamorphic mahogany dumb waiter, c. 1825

About the Item

Mahogany metamorphic dumbwaiter with three rectangular single board bullnose shelves which telescope by 13-1/4". The shelves are fitted to a trestles on turned suppressed ball feet, joined by a turned stretcher. The trestles are hollow to allow pulleys to raise and lower the shelves. Pulley system is fully functional and has been repaired and components replaced. England, period of William lV, circa 1825. Dimensions: 34” W x 19-1/2” D x 29-3/4” H 43” H (when extended)
