About the Item

Fine mahogany free standing cabinet bar by Paolo Buffa made in Italy, circa 1950s. Opposing doors swing open to reveal mirrored and fitted interior which features inlay drawers, and original mirrored walls, and trays. Also incorporated in the interior is the original overhead light (not tested). Front doors have framed 19th century prints depicting classical scenes. Bar cabinet rests on squared tapered legs with bronze mounts and sabot. This example is in original, vintage estate condition, clean and ready to use, however as it has not been restored, it shows some cosmetic wear, fully described in condition blurb to follow. Hard to find major pieces from this major figure. Elegant and chic classical European style with modernist restraint and sophistication. Cabinet without legs 41.25 inch H x 40.25 inch Wc x 17.25 inch Deep x Total H with legs 54 inch.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Original, clean, vintage condition. Minor veneer chip front bottom door, missing glass diffuser interior light, minor rough edges on glass shelves which fit in interior doors, non structural crack to one interior mirror panel, fading to mirrors.
