About the Item

This Tea Cart made in solid Rosewood was produced by Cantù Móveis e Interiores Ltda. in the 1960s. The piece has two levels, and both are composed of removable trays with tops in Formica and Rosewood. Both sides can be used fitted in the structure with chrome casters or as loose trays to serve guests. Architects Jorge Jabour Mauad and Osires Cunha Meale were responsible for designing the furniture of Cantù Móveis e Interiores Ltda. This production represents a vast production of Brazilian furniture designed by architects and manufactured by small companies in the 1960s. The specialists were responsible for conducting studies and projects for interior installations, using Brazilian Rosewood, marbles, leathers, and national fabrics in its manufacture.
