Vintage Art Deco Philippine Mahogany Dry Bar or Liquor Cabinet

Marvelous vintage Rustic distressed wood & ceramic inset top bookshelf console table or rolling bar with new casters. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. This is an incredible vintage Rustic deliberately distressed wood bookshelf, console table, cart, sofa table, or rolling bar with a lovely inset 12” x 12” vanilla colored ceramic top with convenient and quite FABULOUS new casters with clear polyurethane wheels and black metal brackets! We added the casters thinking they would add character and convenience, and not to “toot our own horn” but… TOOT!!! When you’re right, you’re right!! They are STELLAR!!! The back (or front depending how you use it) bears three vertical stabilizing beams nailed to the horizontal wood slat frame and the top is slightly elevated upon the sides giving the countertop a floating effect. It is SO COOL and I mean seriously… it does EVERYTHING!!! It’s finished all around so it will float beautifully in any room. Use the back as the front and you have a marvelous rolling bar and ample storage space under the inset ceramic top for beverages, glasses, cups, barware, or dishes of your choice. Use it in the dining room, kitchen, or roll it out to the Lanai and serve your guests beverages with eye-catching ease! Turn it around and use the other side filling it with your favorite magazines and book collection and call it a library or bookshelf or load it with your DVD player...

Incredible vintage Chinoiserie Drexel Et Cetera Collection petite entertainment or storage cabinet with Ming feet, hand painted scenic designs by Edna Kaylor & brass hardware. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, there were some nicks, dings, & scratches on the finish which have been touched up. The top & door fronts were given a fresh clear coat to blend some of this imperfections in. Well, even if it’s not, it’s about to feel like it because this fabulous Drexel ET Cetera cabinet is a real GIFT!!!! It is comprised of a shorter or petite (hence; SHORTY lol!!!) deep ebony black frame with wonderful Ming feet embellished with fantastic, intricately hand painted Asian scenes including figures, trees, mountains, streams, and huts or Minka’s in marvelous colors of gold, brown, and green. So beautifully hand composed by Drexel artist Edna Kaylor it feels like a vision in an Oriental paradise. The doors open with brass pulls on brass escutcheons to expose black painted finished inner doors with gold trim details. Fantastic vintage Spanish Colonial Revival style oak cupboard, hutch, cabinet, or dry bar comprised of hand carved oak, wood pegs & shelves, & brass. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. This piece has lots of wonderful patina. Circa, Late 19th Century through 20th Century. We really have a hard time determining age of this piece. It is fabulous no matter and is priced for its beauty and not its age. Enigma definition: A person, object, or thing that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand. This cupboard is just that… definitely puzzling and mysterious!! And I sure wish it could talk because I bet it has some GREAT stories to share!! Something tells me it’s seen a few things and has had quite an interesting history. It is a one-piece cabinet comprised of oak with a top and bottom section and an open center section. The doors have carvings with (what we believe are) dates back to the 1600’s. The door fronts remind me of vintage livery cupboards… they are nostalgic and quite mystifying!! We don’t believe the whole cupboard is quite the same age, hence, more mystery! We believe the body or frame of the cupboard is Early 1900’s, possibly earlier, and was made from reclaimed lumber or someone possibly took pieces of an old cabinet and repurposed it. The top section is constructed with mortise & tenon joints (no nails!), the inner top & base cabinets each enclose a single adjustable wood shelf with aged wood peg brackets, and stepped siderails or shelf supports. Both the top and lower door fronts bear enigmatic brass armoire hinges...
