About the Item
This is a fantastic vintage Queen Anne Revival burr walnut cocktail cabinet with wonderful hand carved decoration dating from the early 20th Century.
The cabinet features a carved cresting, the doors open to reveal a stunning fitted mirrored interior with a pair of glass shelves, a useful pull out slide, and a tray for serving drinks.
It is fitted with a light that switches on when you open the door, it has been rewired and is in working order.
The lower part has two handy drawers to house all your cocktail making accessories. The cabinet has decorative brass handless and stands on cabriole legs.
This cocktail bar would be a wonderful and playful addition to your lounge or family room and is sure to get noticed wherever it is placed.

Burr Walnut refers to the swirling figure present in nearly all walnut when cut and polished, and especially in the wood taken from the base of the tree where it joins the roots. However the true burr is a rare growth on the tree where hundreds of tiny branches have started to grow. Burr walnut produces some of the most complex and beautiful figuring you can find.
