Empire period, c.1810, Secretaire à Abatant, French. Walnut. Demi-columns with bronze dore mounts. Bronze dore pulls & escutcheons. Chic black marble top with white-grey figure. Great figure to the secretaire door. Small veneer patch to frieze drawer. Well fitted interior, columns flank open storage area over drawers. Old, replaced leather writing surface.
