About the Item

This delightful hanging rack is a wonderful example of the folk art found in Eastern Europe during the 1800's. The dark brown background has hand painted accents including traditional red flowers and green leaves. There are ten wood pegs for hanging personal items on this 6' long rack. Restored, strong, stable and ready for use. Wax finish. Age related wear/distress is seen in multiple areas where the paint has been worn down to the natural pine below. A old hole is still seen, likely where it was once attached to a wall. All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this hanging rack.
