About the Item

This painted pine armoire still maintains the quality and details of the elaborate hand-painted finish. The vibrant red and blue patterns were traditional Eastern European folk art style elements of the era. The many carved details elevate this armoire as a special find. The original door lock functions with double-turn of key (1 included). A single interior shelf is easily removable. This painted two-door armoire has been restored and waxed so it is strong, stable and ready to use. Scratches and loss of paint are seen throughout, please refer to close up photos for better understanding. Age related wear include dings, cracks, age related separation(seen in bottom), distress to paint etc.; while seen throughout the armoire they do not detract from the beauty nor function of this wonderful folk-art find. Refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
