We are delighted to present you with this absolutely magnificent 1930s Art Deco wardrobe. If you are looking for a wardrobe with plenty of depth, huge and cavernous then this will be right up your street. It is bowfronted, particularly deep in design at around 25” depth in the middle with serpentine shaped doors to its front. This beautiful Art Deco Wardrobe is of particularly high quality having the best burr walnut veneers to the doors and continuing in exactly the same quality for the sides, a feature not often seen in wardrobes. This means that the wardrobe is an absolute delight from which ever angle you view it and from where ever you view it. The veneering really is something special in this example and as if that wasn’t enough it has got some very fine walnut crossbanding to the doors to finish it off. Internally we find French polished panelling giving a luxurious feel to the interior, a wonderful place to hang your clothes. Above is a full width rail and to complement this are 4 rails to the base which are configured to provide a 2 layer shoe rack. The shoe rack is very slightly elevated to the base to allow air to circulate around the shoes keeping them in nice condition. The third right hand section is a delight! the internal design is configured so that the user has plenty of storage options for different types of garments. Lower down is a large open cupboard ideal for knee length boots. To the right are a bank of hardwood drawers which are long and deep perfect for socks and underwear. Above are 3 graduated drawers, which again are deep and long and have the benefit of being wide. These are all dove tailed in construction so very well built, and a lovely touch is the bevelled glass fronts giving the user the ability to see at a glance what is in the drawer. Finally in the top of this section are 4 cubby holes which look to be perfect for shoe boxes. The exterior of the roof is polished to a high standard and the whole raised on short cabriole supports with beautifully detailed foliate accents to their knees.
