About the Item

This lovely two door armoire has a beautiful color and considerable charm. The crown is bold, with a nice ogee molding above a row of gadrooning. The doors each have one long and one short flat panel and are divided and separated by fluting with hand-carved hardwood acanthus leaf corbels. The doors open a full 180 degrees, making this a good candidate for retrofitting as an entertainment center. Presently the interior has only a hat shelf above a hanging pole. An attractive gallery four inches high, with eight turned hardwood spindles at the front and four on each side sits on the crown molding but can be easily removed if preferred.
