About the Item
This large two door armoire has a rich warm color and a strong grain pattern. The impressive crown sits above a plain frieze and two pivot-hinged doors, each with two flat panels. The front corners bear a wide fluted molding standing proud enough to give a breakfront effect to the crown and base moldings. The doors open about 100 degrees to reveal a retrofitted hat shelf and hanging pole but the shallow interior will require that clothing is hung slightly diagonally. At 59” wide at the crown, this armoire was built to knock down in order to install it upstairs or in some other restricted space. It breaks apart in the center, you will see the seams in the crown and base moldings, and locks together using a wooden mortice and tenon and key. This piece provides great storage with a relatively shallow profile.
