Hello,
This exceptional, large Biedermeier cherry table was made circa 1825 in Vienna.
Viennese Biedermeier pieces are distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design, excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.
The table is beautifully veneered in cherry wood and featuring fine inlays and ebonzied banding.
The pedestal is composed of three columns and three-side concave shaped base.
The piece top has a lovely cheery book-matched veneer with star pattern
accentuated by a deep amber tone of french polish finish and 200 years old patina.
This high quality Viennese Biedermeier table is very rare and difficult to find.
The piece will be a great complement to any elegant interior. It does not matter whether it is a classic or modern interior because Biedermeier is simply timeless.
