About the Item

Neoclassical-style banded coffee table made in the early 1900s, England. Four turned legs joined by a cross brace support a top with side bands that can be opened, in the band a drawer. Finely chiseled and gilded bronze applications; the entire surface is richly inlaid in woods of various essences.
