English 27" Octagonal Gueridon-Style Table Nicely Carved w/Animal Legs
About the Item
An English beautifully-carved and octagonally shaped table from the mid 20th century. This vintage gueridon-style table from England features an octagonal top which is raised upon four ornately carved legs (three-dimensionally) in the likeliness of an animal, adorn in volutes, feathers, and terminating into paw style feet with balled toes, presented upon an x-shaped platform base. Please note that there is currently a small separation at the top along the inner seam where the wood connect (nothing which we feel compromises the integrity of this piece). This mid-century English table, with its octagonal shape and mythically inspired legs, will make a wonderful accent or smaller-sized center table for your home.
