About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this important 19th century gilt brass Dolphin base French marble centre table
A truly sublime table, the base is oak with solid gilt brass Dolphins and mounts, the top is very large Italian Carrara marble, it dates to 1860-1880 Paris France
Condition wise the base has been fully restored by my French polisher, it is really very good, the gilt brass is exquisite. The table top is large and original, it has various chips around the edges and some discolouration to the top, I can have a new one made for the cost price should the new owner wish
